Eggs

Eggs are one of the mainstays of the diet of modern times. That said they have been eaten for a long, long time and are a fantastic supplier of protein which we may or may not know is responsible for keeping us feeling fuller for much longer, thus without the dreaded feeling of hunger, we will be far less likely to begin snacking on any “junk” food!

You can eat them poached, scrambled, or fried (in a low-fat, healthy oil) and to be cooking them in these different methods will add a variety to your breakfast instead of just the same “old thing.”

You should read this in the Huffington post to gain further knowledge and different insight into eating these eggs.

The results of a study published by the journal for nutrition and food science found that eggs are very low in calories yet very dense in nutrients such as vitamin B12 and Vitamin D.

We should also be aware that in this report, eggs being one of the highest protein providers, also contains many many amino acids which are ideally suited for the individual’s growth and repair during the stages of adolescence.

These should be superfoods are also an excellent deliverer of antioxidants which may be responsible for maintaining our eyesight well into the old age when macular degeneration is set to occur (the leading cause of blindness)

Now to put any fears “to bed”  (stop any fears) you may have over eggs and their cholesterol content, it is, in fact, dietary cholesterol which is completely different to the bloody cholesterol which they will talk about on an almost weekly basis. There is no basis in the whole of science that says in any way eating eggs will add to your blood cholesterol. None whatsoever.

Cereals

The eating of cereals has a long-time connection with breakfast time. Now I am aware that some of you good people reading this will say to themselves “But cereal does not fill me up!”

Well maybe cereal alone will not do this, but, when followed with say, for example, your poached scrambled or fried eggs (in a healthy oil) with maybe 1-2 slices of wholemeal toast then you will feel much more satisfied.

A bowl of cereal is a great provider of fiber, whole grains, antioxidants, and lots of vitamins and minerals too. Study results have concluded that those people who eat breakfast cereal on a regular basis are more likely to have a lower fat and cholesterol diet.

Regularly eating cereal will complete most of your daily requirements for the vitamins and minerals magnesium, calcium, zinc, vitamins D, C, and A as well as Iron. It is all very healthy indeed.

To add to this studies carried out have shown that if you replace your snacks with a healthy bowl of cereal then it contains fiber. Again, you are far less likely to snack on the other more “convenient junk” foods. Thus, lowering your calorie intake. That surely is terrific news for all of you people looking to lose weight?

Toast

If it is that you are going to eat toast, please ensure it is the lesser of the two potential negatives for you. That is right; I am talking about wholemeal bread (brown bread) You need to purchase wholemeal bread from a reputable manufacturer. So what if it is a few cents more.

You see then you will likely actually get the whole wheat instead of these cheaper bread makers who tell lies on their product description labels. You can read more about bread right here

An advantage of eating whole grains (for that is what it is) is that it can help you avoid the threats that cardiovascular disease (heart disease) brings with it.

So when you come to buy your wholemeal bread, please don’t buy any of it less than 100% whole grain. Because it is not real and is useless.

If you are reading the labels of bread that do not say 100% whole grain. Well then, it is highly likely that they contain flour and it is merely bleached. That is nothing short of  FAKE  wholemeal bread (see the above bread link for more information)

There you go you see. We have created one of the perfect healthy recipes for breakfast to lose weight. A straightforward selection of foodstuffs that is all very low in calories too.

Stick To It Regularly

Stick to these on a regular basis, and you will set yourself UP for the day. However, you will go DOWN a clothing size or two as well.
